When my dad passed I only had a few people giving their condolences to me. Most of them by text, and I cut ties with most of the people I called friends because I was there for everyone when they needed me, but I had not a single one of them show up at the funeral or afterwards. Helped my family pick themselves up and dealt with everything else on my own, Missy might find it annoying, but it feels a thousand times worse when you see everyone ignore your pain, specially those who you thought would help you stand back up.
