Steven Adams would be a beast if he's with a system oriented team like Boston, Utah, Spurs, GSW. Too bad he's stuck with a ninja turtle

Lmao look at how his teammates are throwing their hands up in the air every time like they made a mistake for going after the rebound

One of the more interesting points that has shown over time, since the vid was made in 2017 is how Westbrook didn't take advantage of the really good teammates he had. Miraculously two of his starters that were traded became all-stars within two seasons of leaving WESTBROOK!!! Sabonis and Oladipo, and Oladipo was in MVP talks one season til he got hurt!! Westbrook's triple double seasons cheapen the stat & were just a mockery of the sport, it was "natural" and fluid within the game like Oscar.

When I was seeing you promoting your video I was expecting yet another bs clickbait video that was poorly made. You my friend are a star and it's a shame you have less than 100 subs! This video is nothing but fax and honestly deserves more views

Dang, Curry's 3PT% (45.4%) is essentially equal to Westbrook's 2PT% (45.9%)

Westbrook's ball IQ is one of the lowest in the NBA.

Soooo... he's not an especially accurate shooter, he doesn't control the ball well, he doesn't make his teammates better, and he uses his team to help pad his own stats.
Sounds like a really great guy.

He wasted Oladipo's talent. They could have been a good duo but Russel Westbrook is a selfish brat. Look at Oladipo's effeciency and performance without Russel, he manage to carry the pacers into the playoffs and force a game 7 against Lebron James and the Cavs. Even this year, with Carmelo and PG13, they can't share the ball well and go deep in the playoffs.

Here's some other important things to keep in mind about Russ.

Russel Westbrook plays some of the worst stay in front defense ever allowing him much more energy on offense just like James Harden does. He purposefully leaves his man wide-open so he can cherry pick rebounds away from his big men. He also gambles horribly for steals just to pad his stats and/or get a flashy dunk. And even if he ends up getting that steal for a break away dunk he has a tendency of bricking them off the back of the iron because he wants to slam the ball with 1 hand as hard as he possibly can instead of laying it up or doing a safer type of dunk.

You mentioned his high turnovers, but it's HOW he turns it over that gets me the most. His turnovers are much worse than most other point guards because they are so forced they usually turn into 2 or 3 points on the other end. Some say he would be better as a shooting guard because he simply does not know how to take care of the basketball. The problem with that though is that he isn't a high percentage shooter and prefers shooting off the dribble too much.

Lastly, Westbrook's shot choices are probably the worst I have ever seen in my life. He will pull up for 3 in a guys face with 14-18 seconds left on the shot clock even during crunch time and non 2 for 1 situations. He doesn't even look to see if his big men are ready for rebounds before hand. He's often even too fast for his own good to hit easy shots. He loves flying into the lane, but misses wide open layups like crazy because he can't ever learn to pump the brakes. His flops are very over-exaggerated too, which ends up making him take an even harder shot and not getting a call on top of it.

It's honestly sad seeing such failed potential... I originally thought his selfish play-style was just a young faze, but I was completely wrong. Apparently he does not want to become a mature basketball player that's truly respected. He only cares about himself and not the fundamentals of winning efficiently as a team.

Thank you! You are so right! For those of us who enjoy watching unselfish ball movement and great TEAM play, Russell Westbrook's game is so overrated 😩... I see right through the inflated stats.
