Dig - Believe [video song cover by State Shirt]

Here is my cover version of a track you may remember from the early 1990s from the band Dig. This one was in pretty heavy rotation on MTV's old "buzz bin" back in the day. I recorded this in a "video song" format—what you see is what you hear, all video captured during the creation of the song (with the exception of the outdoor footage which was taken in my back yard). :)

Thanks!! :) the black line separation between the videos is as simple as starting with a black background (default in Final Cut) and resizing/cropping the videos to have the black show through.

Never even thought of that... always thought I needed a "border" around each clip in my project. So simple. Used Vegas for a while, but switching to AP... what a difference in ability to do stuff (especially for videosongs). Thanks for the tips, bro. Prob going to buy one of your shirts soon. :)

Gotta say man, I studied the shots and split screen stuff you did here. I absolutely love the nature slider shots mixed in with the live studio stuff. If you don't mind, I'd love to borrow the nature shot stuff when I get to seriously working on all of my original videosongs. Also, I know you use a Mac, but just wondering if you knew of an easy way to get the thin black line separation thing happening with other video editors (I happen to use Vegas Movie Studio Platinum). Let me know, thx bro!
