Steps

update ubuntu
----- sudo apt update
----sudo apt upgrade

install SSH
------sudo apt install openssh-server
ssh status

-----sudo systemctl status ssh

allow ssh port to open

----sudo ufw allow ssh

how did you setup your A record, where you point it to which ip?

Previously I use my iredmail to send out a few testing emails with my local domain, and after around 10 testing I was not able to send an email to Gmail already. It is because Gmail had blocked my Public IP? or it is because Gmail blocked my testing local domain? Now I had purchased a domain for setting up my email server but I was worry about it. what should I do to unblock it? Please help~

Everything I did from A to Z, it only works in one direction, from server to gmail-user, back no. Is it possible that I have a problem with ports from my ISP provider? Thx.

Hi, I have done all the steps but still I can't receive mails from external services (i.e. gmail or outlook).

I'm Running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
iRedMail 1.5.2
I bought domain on Namecheap and I have configured all the records same like you.
I requested Public IP from my ISP and I asked them not to block traffic on port 25.
Forwarding it's ok I think.
