In Deliverance, you take on the role of an elite angelic warrior in the army of Heaven. Since the victory on the Cross, you have hunted the fallen angelic Princes. Once your faithful brethren, they now lead Satan’s forces of Darkness in a bitter war against the humans, bent on corrupting every last soul. In a bid to end their reign of chaos, you have planned a daring mission into one of their great Strongholds - The seemingly quiet human city of Fallbrook.

Angels as we know them have nothing to do with judaism, the form of winged humans comes from Greece and Mesopotamia, their original name is unironically "demons" (meaning the one who knows and the one who shares divine knowledge) and the jewish version of angels are monsters with plenty of freakish forms. My favourite one is Thanatos.

It’s so good! Gameplay and production are both top notch- only complaints are poor standee storage and the card wells don’t fit premium sleeves. Everything else is perfect!

The acrylic components (standees and bases) have plastic on both sides, I know because I had to take the plastic off every single one, haha

I can enjoy religious themes so long as they're not actively trying to convert me in the process. I remember that Deliverance was one I was looking at and played a few games on TTS, But I also remember I had a very particular gameplay complaint that kind of ruined my enjoyment, which is why I didn't end up backing it at the time. I have heard they did some reworks and maybe the issue that I had has been fixed? Honestly, I'm not sure. It's been quite a long time since I played and I don't really remember what it was that bothered me so much. If the TTS mod is the most updated version still, I may boot it up and give it a try again. It very much was a game that I was torn on so I'd be open to giving it a second chance.

6:35 yeah a great way to not scratch your standee is to not use a knife. just use your fingernails, they look long enough

Unboxed mine last week and agree the coin is amazing one of the top components in any game I have backed. I had hoped this was a dungeon crawl somehow missed it was skirmish. Hopefully I like it but have found that genre has less legs for me than dungeon crawls
