Madonna : Borderline (10bz Perimeter Mix) 2018

This remix was intended for inclusion in a sequenced Madonna mix I planned to put together in order to celebrate my friend Stuart's birthday. Stue is a Madonna superfan and has been since she first appeared on the scene back in the early 80's. The sequence was to be called 'Stue Can Dance', a reference to Madonna's 1987 remix album 'You Can Dance'. I had selected one track from each of Madonna's albums which were to be BPM matched and remixed, subtly or otherwise, before being sequenced into a continuous-play 'mega-mix'. Alas, I got bored of the project, my computer struggled to handle the enormity of it and I missed the date. I guess I'll continue to work on it, a little at a time, through the year and hopefully have it completed by Stue's next birthday. In the meantime, I thought I'd share the fruits of my labour with you all on YouTube. Your feedback and suggestions are always gladly received.

'Borderline' was released in 1984 as the 5th and final single from Madonna's first album 'Madonna' and reached number 2 on the U.K. singles chart when it was re-released in 1986.
