XJ Rolls off A cliff

During the Farmington National competition 1st course. On bonus line 3 the jeep unloaded quickly and rolled 1 complete roll before cartwheeling off a cliff. Katelynn driver was just fine and climbed out of the vehicle unscathed. XJ is a disaster. Probably move the good parts over to a designated Off road chassis.

Katelynn (driver) and Dad/Kevin (spotter) are competitors in W.E.Rock. Katelynn won 1st place in the Eastern and Western point series this year with the help of many sponsors whom we would like to thank.

Drifted over here from RME4X4... As a father of two daughters, I can't even imagine what you went through watching this as it happened...totally helpless! Holy crap! Just watching here on YT, I went from tears to laughing my butt off when her first words we "Somebody had better have gotten that on video!"...and then a little reality takes over... ❤ She's a tough cookie, but I bet she was hurtin' the next few days! The XJ can be replaced...our kiddos can't! Best wishes getting her back into a new buggy!!

Wow, the fear was real. I'm glad she remembered to keep her hands in. He was yelling it, but people lose their minds sometimes. I've seen some nasty injuries from crushed hands.

Glad to see she is OK. Love the whole "somebody better have got that on video". Cage and teaching to keep hands INSIDE make are a huge difference in the outcome of things like this. I always cringe when I see people put their arm or hand around the OUTSIDE of the cage/door.
