Devil Z Street Racing and Car Overview - 1991 Wangan Midnight

I DO NOT OWN THIS VIDEO. I'm putting it out for the world to enjoy since it doesn't exist elsewhere as far as I can tell, and whoever made this car deserves mad props.

This is the closest to real life Devil Z ever created in my opinion. It was created by the production crew of the 1991 Wangan Midnight live action movie, a cinematic masterpiece I WISH I COULD UNDERSTAND since I don't speak nor read Japanese.

But what I was given at one point that I saved with the video was a build sheet, take this as you will:

Car was built by Speed Shop Shinohara for the film and its first sequel. The history is foggy after that. They were an L-Type specialist that built various Fairlady Z's, including one for zero-yon racing in the late 80s.

I miss the old days of tuning . Say 80s 90s and early 2000s when high hp wasn't so obtainable to everyone. When 800-1000 hp was a rarity. Especially in 6 cylinder cars. Good thing innovations like traction control and boost by gear came along as well. I'd say E85, engine management and injectors bigger than 1600cc have made the most improvements.
EDIT: not a Salty old dude or anything just feel like there's some passion lost.
