Sir can we do this directly by putting Ut=0 in the given heat equation because of given that steady state and the solve Uxx=0 gives us U= Ax+B where A and B are constant then use the given boundery conditions we have A =1 and B=1 then U=x+1 the we directly get our answer 2 by putting x=1.
