Sorry but Nope. NSX is just outdated. Old Ferrari and Lambo will drag you into Maintenance hell and costs you tons to fix their random issues as they broke more than old lady on a staircase. R8 is the only thing that can consider an alternative but you will need tons of mods and get a good used one and at that point a brand new c8 is just better buy.

If you want cheap performance, hard to beat a C5Z. You can buy them all day for around 20K. The only thing not cheap are tires, but you would have that anyway.

Initial costs yes. A year or two of ownership and you will be near financial suicide for a garage queen. They do look good on the flatbeds traveling from the driveway to repair facility.

Some risky, low performance choices man. The early R8 5.2 would make my list too. Here are some others:

2012+ GT-R
2013+ Viper
2015+ C7 Corvette Z06/Z07
2013+ Porsche 911 S
2018+ 718 Boxster/Cayman GTS
Bonus: BMW i8 for the flex

I personally own the C7 Z06/Z07 and I’m sticking to it. MANUAL transmission....carbon ceramic brakes that need 20 feet less to stop from 70 mph, 1.2 Gs of grip and much faster besides for the launch. Check car and driver testing for the numbers.

theres a reason that those cars are less than 60k. the c8 is superior all around. lambos break down at 300 miles. not 300k, 300

miles. im not a chevy fanboi but a chevy corvette is gonna last much longer than a super car and you can drive it erry day. on youtube look up highest mileage corvette. theres a vid of a c5 with like 600k miles on it. i meaaannnn....
