Scott Morrison was Australia’s 30th prime minister and the 14th leader of the Liberal Party of Australia, serving in both roles between August 2018 and May 2022. He also served as Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, and later Minister for Social Services in the Abbott Government, and as Treasurer in the Turnbull Government. Prior to entering parliament, Morrison primarily worked in the tourism industry, having prominent roles in both New Zealand and Australia, and he also served as State Director of the NSW Liberal Party between 2000-2004.
