GREAT CONTENT!! Let me just share to these quotes that I like, "Focus on being productive instead of busy." -Tim Ferriss and "Sometimes, things may not go your way, but the effort should be there every single night."

I don’t know very many successful people who got there without time blocking. Even the free spirits had to utilize (or hire people who utilize it lol). Most people think it won’t work for them because they think they need to be rigid or inflexible or they time block every moment. That’s a sure fire way to flop though. You just need to time block the most important things or the things you’re struggling to make time for. All time blocking means is making an Appt for yourself to get something done (then practicing the self discipline to help yourself stick with it).

In light of the reality that we "spend" our time doing things, a hard stop becomes the functional equivalent of what we in business call a walk away price!

And it is, as you say, absolutely essential!

I've been implementing hard stop and it's actually tough to do because once I catch momentum on a certain task it's difficult to just stop.

This is actually very useful, have been using this "hard stops" for a while now. Didn't know there was a term for it
But definitely felt like I had gotten more done within the time limit and overall productive.

Sunk cost fallacy is a wonderful strategy to follow. Do not fall for it.
Just because you have invested a lot of time in an activity, does not mean you have to keep investing more time.
When you say yes to 1 activity, you say no to eveything else.
Do not fall for the sunk cost fallacy

My "OBSTACLES" Include the US Government and AMERICAN Citizens. I'm a US Coast Guard Veteran with a Honorable Discharge. California denied me rehab services and driver's license without just cause. I'm DENIED "Blind Persons" Assistance because my vision defect is correctable. But elective procedures and glasses are DENIED til further notice! Scholarship opportunities are DENIED me because I'm not in the Right class of accepted groups. How can I possibly get past everyone who BETRAYS ME every step I take?

In time-blocking you might try to block time for entertainment and leisure first Then important tasks throughout the week. Don't be a tyrant to yourself.

Prioritize your tasks ahead of time.
By listing your tasks in order of importance, you can make sure that you finish all of your most important tasks during the day.
