In this video of Easy Japanese Vlog, I talk about my new house in Christchurch. I use mostly from Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbook. It's perfect for Japanese listening comprehension practice especially for JLPT N5, N4.

Also I have a Japanese podcast for beginners.

Here's the new vocab I picked up from this video:
郊外 suburb, commuter belt
過ごす [this one has lots of meanings but in this video I think it was these 2] to pass time/spend time; to take care of
紹介 introduction
掃除 cleaning
動画 video, online clip
観葉植物 houseplant
食器洗い機 dishwasher
普通 normal, ordinary, common
のんびり [adverb or する verb] at leisure, in a relaxed way, carefreely
乾かす to dry something
比べる to compare
生活 life, living, livelihood

Hope this helps!

I keep turning these on waiting for the day I finally start to understand 😂. 30 days in and I only recognize アメリカ, ここ、 はい, えっと and ます 👀🥲

Will comment again at 60 day mark 😅

I was getting very down on myself about my japanese. I feel as though I'm not learning enough and I'm not understand as much as I think I should know. It can be frustrating sometimes. 😒 but watching this videos I understood 85% of what you said and the words I didn't know I was able to use context clues to put the sentence together. This made me feel so much better, thank you for making these if I could just get over my fear of speaking with

とてもいいです! ありがとうございます。 I wanted to recommend the Chrome Language Reactor addon for everyone practicing Japanese. It works perfectly with Japanese with Shun's channel and is SO helpful.

"10分ぐらい==>で<==行くことが。。。" at 7'08, I didn't get the use of で. Can someone point me out the grammatical rule about this one?, to me it's either the mean you use for something (車で。。。) or the place something happens (スーパーで買物をします) . Thanks!

Great video!! Btw at 5:29 you meant to type たくさん荷物があります but you typed 血雨があります. You have blood rain in your house? That’s pretty horrifying 笑
