OK, so just heard this song on House FM, and they did that thing radio stations sometimes do before a song comes on - announcing the name and musician. I thought aloud to myself how strange that a Christian song is titled Funeral. And so when the song came on, I expected to hear a somber tune sung in a hymnal style. But girl, was I wrong? It was ukelele and so upbeat. And then the words broke me down because, like all of you who came here, you are probably overdue for holding funeral processions for the old person you've been. So thank you, Leanna, for reminding us that we have been raised with Christ and become new. That our old selves don't define us.
