Anastasia Vlasova, This Is My Brave Teens
Anastasia Vlasova is 18 years old and a high school senior in the D.C. area. She is the Creative Director of This Is My Brave Teens, a mental health advocacy platform for young people. Anastasia’s advocacy work began in 2019, when she was the keynote speaker at the Josh Anderson Foundation Annual Ball and became President of her school’s Our Minds Matter club. Since January of 2020, she has been designing digital content to raise mental health awareness, hosting Brave Wave (an upcoming mental wellness podcast), co-producing This Is My Brave storytelling shows, and hosting webinars about eating disorder awareness and wellness advocacy. Beyond storytelling and creating art, she loves running, hiking, yoga, reading, and exploring cities!
