Rachel you are great and I smiled when you mentioned one of my fav quote “if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you”.. thanks for the inspiring video as a fan and new content creator here on YouTube

Long story short: stop working for a company that is selling you to dozens of clients, and work for those clients directly. This is the basic trend with technology professionals for a long time. Sure, you need your employer sometimes, so you can get experience with client work sooner, but as soon as you get the idea, unless you're super comfortable living like that, build your own brand and start working for yourself.

Every time I feel no energy or motivation, I watch your videos. It inspires me in so many ways, more importantly it drives me a little bit further on my journey. I am a new mom in a new country as new immigrant, learning new skills to arm myself to be ready for new career… so exhausted but so challenged! Wish us all the best! Thank you Rachel!

You are similar to my early journey of being a UIUX designer. I have been a UI UX freelancer for more than 20 years until becoming a leader. Feeling lonely is a way to solidify a good skill of exploring inner thoughts, and also, it's a good way to sharpen your soft skills. They will help you to create more inspiring products in the future.

Doing so many things is exactly like you said. It becomes very overwhelming. Dealing with learning new things while doing the work starts to become very challenging. The ability to relax our emotions and keep pushing forward is key to our success

Rachel, thank you so much for making this video! It's soooo refreshing to hear that even such an experienced pro like you have imposter syndrome and you have to combat it too. I feel stuck because of it, I know that i'm just a junior designer in the beginning of my journey and I just need to start with tons of mistakes along the way but this fear of failure almost paralyses me. What if I'm not good enough and let my team/company/client down? What if I don't know much as required for this field? etc. How do you deal with such questions whenever they arise?
