They say you either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain. In Domingo's case, he carries on as a subpar baritone when he could have retired as a fine tenor.

The only reason Eyvazov is on the opera stage is because of his wife. He is straight awful. Corelli and Di Monaco are rolling in their graves. My 17 year old grandson can sing laps around him.

The orchestra is literally thrown on top of both singers. Perhaps it’s the audio from poor recording. I’m fine with Domingo, but not a fan of Eyvazov.
