Hey, do you think the same procedure would work with thinner foam, maybe even foam of different thicknesses? Of course I would try my best to have all of the curvy pieces be the same as each other so they wouldn't overlap weird, but just in general, different thicknesses for the body of the hat compared to the brim and so on. I plan to enhance the hat by coating it with fabric later to make it seem a bit less handmade anyways, so that should make it more durable as well

This is really cool and beautiful and a nice work! But why can't I find any tutorial on how to actually FELT a real wool felt top hat? Okay, it's a lot more work to do. But it is even wayy cooler!
