S/Y Nireas arrival at Limassol Marina

S/Y Nireas sailed into her home port, Limassol Marina, after a 1,500 NM maiden voyage. The open maxi 65ft Cometa is the very first pure racing yacht able to compete for Cyprus at an international level.

Designed by Maurizio Cossutti, in a quest for enhanced performance and pure speed, the carbon-fiber racer is one of the marvels of the Open Class. Nireas Offshore Sailing Team is an exciting new project that aims to change the history of sailing in Cyprus by providing the very first pure racing yacht able to compete at an international level. It is manned by some of the best sailors on the island, all sharing a common passion and vision for participation at prestigious regattas with a Cyprus flag.
