Not just because he’s vocal about his mental health but because he articulates it and puts into perspective so I can than articulate it to others. I met Ye in Miami a few years back while we were both eating breakfast at a restaurant. In the 15 min we chatted, there was no small talk, he directly went into a deep philosophical perspective of life and humanity, and I as an artist myself found it extremely refreshing to get down to the nitty gritty questions about how we are and how we behave to what we really need.
