As someone who has struggled with s*lf h*rm for 17 years, that bothers me a lot. I have been in recovery for five years, but it just seems insensitive because it is a constant struggle for so many of us. Thank you for pointing that out because no one has ever mentioned that as a description before.

Yay, you got Dead Silence 🎉 Yes, I read that on your recovery readathon 🥰 I think I finished it within 24 hours or so too, I could not put it down.

Highly recommend the audiobook to read along with it, if you can. I checked out the audio from my library and I think it elevated the reading experience 💕

Yikes. I’m also really turned off by that description of red. Really insensitive and that short phrase could totally trigger someone. I love the goal of reading 100 pages a day!

I honestly don’t even remember that descriptive and I don’t know why because that is a strange way to describe red. I also agree I’m one of the folk who didn’t think the book was spectacular just good. Though I had one thing that annoyed me and the other was just disgustingly cheesy lol.

The fact that he actually liked her the whole time and acted the stereotypical “boys are mean to you because they like you” and I already hate that saying but to have a grown man act like that? No. Also the end where he reveals why he painted his bedroom his favorite color? 🙄🤢 lmao!
