I tried deliverance by myself with the help of Christ and all I remember was this hate and this anger and it felt like I was not in control, but the words in my head kept telling the demon to leave, and I couldn’t really focus on speaking because it was as if I loss all control of the flesh. Jesus poured light into me and I was reconnected with the Holy Spirit and it was the best feeling. I went from shaking like crazy and yawning to falling down on my knees and feeling the presence and peace of God’s light upon me. I don’t recommend doing it by yourself because it is really hard to stay focus, but I still did it and it worked.

A demon tried to attack me in my sleep through a dream because earlier that day I exposed it by telling my nephew the Harry Potter stuff is not of God and he needed to throw it all away. The demon tried to suffocate me and when I tried to say the Name of Jesus something was going in my nose and mouth but I in my dream forcefully screamed in the Name of Jesus and woke up and I literally still felt for about 30 seconds tingling in my nose and throat. This spiritual battle is real but we have the victory through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 🙌🏾✝️

HOWEVER, I think that casting the devil out before asking them may give the person the ability to feel and decide that they want to be saved and stay free. Obviously, this is not applicable to every situation. Lester Summerall has a great story about this in his book The Gifts and Ministries of the Holy Spirit, page 81 and 82. Also, Paul did this in Acts 16, with the woman who had been following him.

Heard a guy at our church talk about his night terrors he's had since a child. Pastor didn't say squat. Can't find a church that believes in casting out demons, miracle signs and wonders, explaining what sins are like living together.

1. Determine their willingness to be delivered.
2. Lead them through the prayer of renunciation and forgiveness to break legal rights.
3. Confront the demon
4. Bind the demon in Jesus' name
5. If they don't want to leave, ask its name and find its function and what they feel they have a right to be there.
6. Double-check, go back, and make sure they are gone and there are no loopholes gone
7. Pray the Holy Spirit fills them and protects them.

I have never done this myself, but I've heard that not everyone can do this. You have to be spiritually ready to do this. Even Jesus said, some require fasting, my guess would because they are stronger ones. Greg Locke says, it can take hours to do this in some cases. So I'm not sure this is for everyone that hears this. But this is good information for those who are prepared. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for this sir 🙂 The lady in my profile picture had a demon in her, but she didn't want it to go, so it didn't! 😭 She wanted to hold on to sorrow and unforgiveness.... So the demon manifested again! Then she got kicked out of our room/board and I wasn't there to help her again 😩

Paul did not ask the girl in Philippi if she wanted deliverance . Acts 16:18 tells us that he simply turned and commanded the spirit in Jesus'Name to come out of her and the spirit left her that same hour.
