You’re right the debate is not over. The WNBA has set their course and they will reap their reward. Nobody will watch or care about the good ol’boy Lesbian team sent to Paris. The backlash will not be over with the Olympics, it will continue for the next four years. CC is changing the game for the better and the old guard will fight her every step of the way. If you like BB then you better hope CC and her fans win. If they don’t the WNBA will return to the irrelevancy that it has been up till now.

I really don’t think she’s one bit concerned. Let her play her game & stop clawing for click bait.

Pressure is building to put her on the team. I wouldn't count her out yet.

This is really a vid dig dilemma, mamma! Persons care for Caitlin Clark as another person -- not as a hooper, or a joker, or a thug, or a trophy, or an historical benchmark. We celebrate her success as a person -- on screen/off screen, on court/off court, Olympics-or-no. Wanna use her as a cipher, or a shill, as content or a contestant, as a target or a talk-about? Have yer own kinda fun. We love her as a person. Hey CC -- ❤!

She has better stats than at least 4 women on this team. I wish everyone would quit enabling the "she doesn't have merit or deserve it" narrative. Just a little research proves this is a false reason. A little more digging and you will find several other players also got snubbed. so their claim they wanted to assemble the best team is also false. It was political plain and simple. They assembled the best lesbian/activist team for sure.

At the next Olympics the USA will show up with inexperienced athletes and the youngest will be 30 years old, cc still won 3 golds with the USA national team. to end up in paris you will go without pg since the starter two months before the olympics hasn't played for a year.

The short answer: “Caitlin Clark is NOT part of the WNBA Clique”. No ifs, ands, or buts! Jennifer Rizzotti and everyone directly involved with the decision dropped the ball BIG TIME! Colossal mistake!

It’s definitely the wrong decision to leave her off the team. She’s better than a lot of those girls even though she has only been in the league a short time she shows tremendous improvement in each game and will surpass half of the Olympic team before the season is over.

You're missing the point. Leaving her off the team because she doesn't have the experience only delays her from getting that experience. If she is indeed the future of the WNBA, then she won't have the experience when she'll be a starter in the next Olympics. This is the obvious counterpoint. This team with any of 8 players on the published roster would still win the Gold. It's stacked that high. What's ridiculous is that with almost no risk to losing the Gold, you're denying the world from seeing the athelete they want to see and the global attention that a struggling league like the WNBA needs. If anything, if CC does not elevate the WNBA to profitability, what are the chances of the league itself being around in 4 years? And if the league isn't around in 2028, were do we get our players from? You have to balance this as an actual Olympic concern. Right now CC is bringing attendence to the game. But, God forbid, she ends her career at an early age for whatever reason. We just saw another rookie Cameron Brink go down with a season ending injury. What happens to the WNBA then? Does it survive until 2028? Keep in mind this is league that has one dynasty team in the Houston Comets and they haven't been in existence in 15 years. This isn't a league with generational history where little kids are brought up liking the teams that their parent liked. There isn't sustaining reasons for the league to retain its fanbase like other leagues do. Let's be real, the only reason the WNBA still exists is because it's subsidized by the NBA. And if CC doesn't get the league to become profitable, does it make sense for the NBA to continue as their sugardaddy? It doesn't.

She is definitely qualified to make the team but they wont let her in. For now its better for her not joining a bunch of hypocrites! 😤😤

Caitlin used to be dominant. What the heck happened? Every team has a player or two better than her!

Many excuses, we saw her play, she has high IQ, she can easily adapt, she has many fans around the world already, you can see it during kive stream of every game. There will no other player will catch peoples attention like her, they are good but they have no star appeal like her.

Two reasons: 1. she is not better than Ionescu, Loyd, Young, Gray, or Plum right now; 2. Taurasi is Larry Bird on the Dream Team. Legends get a spot for their body of work.
