Iran, Russia and China begin joint naval drill in Indian Ocean

Iran has been holding naval exercises with Russian and Chinese ships. The drills are taking place in the northern Indian Ocean. Tehran says the operation aims to strengthen security in the region, as well as combatting piracy, and reinforcing the safety of maritime trade.
