Taras Samchuk describes how Ukrainian soldiers retreat from Ilovaisk

Taras Samchuk, a soldier of the anti-tank unit of the 51st Mechanized Brigade. recalls how they moved in the military column from Mnohopillya on Aug. 29. Samchuk says he owes his life to a multipurpose light armored transporter. His 51st brigade was disbanded in December 2014, after some of its soldiers were accused of desertion during the fight for Ilovaisk.
