We have more than enough resources to live, but it's being held back by those who profit off of it the most. Talking about overpopulation is an issue without any solution other than stopping people from breeding or getting rid of parts of the population, which invites the question of which part of the population that would be done to, which is kind of bad.

Humanity doesn't need to develop a better relationship with mother nature, it's the CEOs and politicians who profit off it's destruction who need to change.

Anytime you want population to slow down or stop or even retract all you have to do is educate the women in that population they raise their standards so high that no man beyond a very rare few meet their Standard and they will stop having children. Meanwhile any patriarchal countries/communities. Will produce an abundance of children.

My grandfather said that when he was a young man 1 pair of shoes would last 5 years or more. Today I often see videos of peoples shoe collection. I am owner or 8 pairs of shoes. I buy 1 new pair of shoes per year. The  carbon footprint for a  in the United States is 16 tons, one of the highest rates in the world. Globally, the  is closer to 4 tons..  The problem with over population is how we consume. If we over populated but lived organically, living in mud huts and wearing plant clothes. This would not harm our nature. but no one today wants to live like this. People like the material world of throw away goods. So this is the reason why earth natural

People need to be educated on over population no matter what! south asian countries and african countries need a big awakening call. More kids do not equal to social security, prosperity or even wealth. Have two to three kids and grant them education, proper food, medicine and treatment. You will not be failed. In fact, you will have more money left to improve your quality of life. Maybe a bigger house, with electric dishwasher and laundry instead of that old run down cabin with little electricity. You will also have more money saved in bank. Spend it on vacation to wherever you want. And if you raise your children right, do not worry. They will not abandon you when you grow old. In fact you will have more money saved to spend on your own treatments instead of relying on a supposed child. Be smart people!
