Two Tone Watches with Attitude // Gold, Steel, Bronze // From Seiko to Tudor

Показать описание
The combination of steel with gold or bronze adds an beautiful flavour to watches. Two tone watches are fun on the wrist, especially in the summer. Some see those watches as too flashy or even with a bad reputation, but it's time to change that. In this model I present you six two tone watches, five of them on a budget.
Topics are watches, bracelets, Seiko, Victorinox, Omega, Tudor, Oris, Steinhart and Strapcode.

Have the chrono green victorinox two tone! Great beater piece and great quality. Better than most entry level tags

Great subject Tim! I think two tone is underrated, especially gold/steel with a champaign dial. I even have my 1963 pilots chronograph on a two tone. It also works well with gold/titanium and I even have a steel/black ceramic two tone.

I bought my brand new Rolex Submariner Two Tone with a blue dial in July of 2002 for $6345.00 w/tax, it’s the best investment I ever made. I wear this watch everyday and it always makes me smile. Thanks Tim for sticking up for the beauty of two tone watches.

I knew that Datejust would be the "example!" I think - regardless it's bad reputation- the two tone Rolex Datejust with champagne stick dial and the jubilee bracelet is by far the most legendary and beautiful two tone watch ever made though. That was the first cool watch I've seen as a child. The watch I have the deepest emotional bond with. My father's watch. My son's watch. I love that shit. I rarely wear it though. Way too flashy. But sometimes flashy is nice, sometimes it's cool to wear something like that. If you have good reputation, you can wear a watch which has not. Flashy becomes class. Just an opinion.

I love two-tone more and more! I just got a pair of two-tone Cartier Santos Dumont for my wife and I as our first pair watches. We both absolutely love them 😁

Two tone is a great idea for a ladies watch. The versatility is appreciated

I'm not really a two tone fan, but when it comes to Steinhart, I fully agree. I love my 3 Steinharts and I believe it's not over.

Hi Tim.
Great video once again... There's always something new and fresh on your channel.
I'm always excited to see a new upload from you on my feed.
That Omega is simply beautiful on leather. It offers a refined elegance I don't usually associate with 'two-tone'.
The Oris is the same, however the blue dial doesn't work for me. I prefer to imagine it with a nice textured eggshell coloured dial, or even a brown.
But that Tudor? I think need to pay off my fur coat, my 1977 Lincoln Continental & have rubies placed in the eyes of the Ivory tigers head of my walking cane before I spend that on a timepiece...
👯‍♂️ 🕺 👯‍♂️

Shame Victorinox gets such a bad rap amongst watch enthusiasts. They have some nice styles, including the Maverick line. I’ve owned several with ETA movements and never had a problem with them. I have Omegas, IWC, and several other luxury brands but my Victorinox Diver 500 is my daily beater.

Yes, the Victorinox Maverick looks absolutely stunning! If it came with a mechanical movement, I’d be its first buyer.

Spot on as always, great video. As a matter of fact my first „real“ watch was a two-tone watch, a steel ML Pontos 9777 with solid gold bezel from the early 2000s. It is still my go to for formal attire as it pairs well with all kinds of cufflinks and looks great with both, dark suit and black tie.

Moin Tim, me personally I like two-tone watches. Maybe not a Submariner, but your Oris Divers 65 looks georgious. Two-tone Datejust or GMT Master....classic. I got a Tudor Princess Date two-tone for my wife and to be honest: two-tone is pretty versatile.

The only two-tone watch that I like is the Datejust with jubilee, definitely the rare two-tone Day-Date as well.
Great video Tim 👍, a question for the Q&A, what do you think is the most appealing complication for the eye? I think Remontoire.
