The details explained by Jeremy are truly 'fundamental'. To me they are amazing! I will be a lot better player by practicing all the details he reveals in his videos. Thank you.

This class is like learning to play chess... You have to know how to move (put) your legs and arms (pieces) into the court (board) depending on the shot (move) made by your opponent. And I need to watch and study this video more than once to fully understand the lesson.

Thanks for showing techniques and secrets that others don't.

Jeremy, you are topgun in your well structured explanations. It is 01 o’clock in the night but I feel like dancing the stance.
Very well done. Thank you. ruud

I have been watching many youtube tennis channels so far and Jeremy is one of the coaches who clearly understands the modern tennis and knows how to give clear instruction. Probably some audio and some graphics improvements will make this channel one of top of the line youtube tennis channels. Keep it up!

Very precise and subtle explanations. It is rare to find such a level of relevance.
Could you make a video about short cross shots (forehand, backhand).

Thank you so much.

Nice comprehensive review of stances, Jeremy. I have a 1HBH and I have doubts about the advisability of using an open stance to drive a ball with this stroke. Watching your video you appear to be in an almost unbalanced posture when hitting this stroke. Some commentators, in fact, advise against using the open stance on a 1HBH drive. The BH slice, I believe, is another matter and I wish you had included it in your stances. Because the BH slice uses less torso rotation that the BH drive, I think you can better get away with using an open stance on that wing with it. And, pressed for time retrieving a wide, fast ball, it is probably the preferred stroke to use in that situation.

I found your video via Tennis Haus FB group and I wanted to comment right away. First, love the content very informative. I agree with roger that it is the best explanation Ive seen by far for online tennis instruction. My only tip would make the videos shorts perhaps 10-12 minutes long max, just suggestion. I did watch the entire video because how good it was. My question is this. I think footwork/stances is very important to teach to juniors because they are such a blank slate, however how could a coach simplify what you just said? Because it is a lot of information. Could a coach summarize it as use stances that use blackfoot primarily baseline or deeper and front foot for shorter balls? Thanks for your thoughts about junior development.

A couple of comments, i use the close stance on the backhand when I’m deep to the left sideline and I want to drive the ball hard like a typical Wawrinka shot. Your closed stance is more like at 11 o’clock instead of 10 o’clock. The semi-open I use on inside-in or inside -out shots. Also, when you replay, please flag my original comment so I know when you have replied otherwise I have to keep checking.

Great Summary ! Few questions: as beguinner I knew that the direction of my shot is determined by the imaginary line that passes through my feet. In otheer words don't you think that the choiche of wich stance you use depend from wich direction we wanto to give to our shots as well ? Thans for your time and compliments :-)

Your teaching strokes finished with high out in front - hold the finish but your demonstrated strokes had finish across the body. Can you elaborate the different on the two finish styles and slowly demonstrate the finish across the body? Also, I think the Semi Open is best for High bounced ball on the Forehand and Transfer weight from back to front leg - with High preparation and hitting across the body - that's why I really want to see how you teach hitting across the body finish. Thanks

If I get a deep ball in the corner on my one-handed backhand, I use a closed stance and then hit a slice backhand. It works pretty well for me, but is it ok?
