After 8-9 years playing, and over 2400 hrs played, if anyone asked me now I would say NO, keep your sanity & steer clear!

No it is not! I'm a veteran with 65k tanks destroyed and I can tell you that this game is built to make you angry so you can buy premium packages that work for a while and then you get angry again! It feels like working, you don't play the map you want and if you find a map you like and you find a strategic point, Warthunder will take it out by modifying the map on the next update!

In truth no, servers with the worst fucking ping - players who can see you from one side of the map and as soon as a pixel changes snipe you or know where you are well before you know where they are. Drones made the game in high tier worse and with no real way to practice HOW to use the fucking drone or a tutorial - really? Feels like its been slapped on as an after thought. With all the pay to win premium and punshing for not paying - not worth it.

Over the course of 8 years I’ve put 2300 hours into this game. It’s the best military vehicle simulation game out there. No other game gives you the opportunity to shoot down a modern helicopter with a ww2 heavy tank. Great video!!

I still play it, I stopped trying to grind for top tier and have just enjoyed playing my favorite tanks.

I have access to an alt account that has the 10.5cm Kwk Tiger II and Panther II I am currently playing, and when I'm in my main account I just role my Sturmtiger, KV-2 zis-6, and other rare vehicles just because I love playing them.

The game is much more fun when you are not pressured to get the next best vehicle

Day three as a brand new player to the game, I would say so far the experience has sucked You got cheaters and try hards and suspicious players and then I feel like I’m singled out by the game and just getting absolutely dog wiped by everybody and anything even when I’m doing nothing different than my opponents and then the grind is atrocious and intimidating. The hub is complex. The monetization is a little annoying, but not too big of a deal.

I have been playing for about 15 months... Since october of 2023.. I do not drink or smoke.. Gaming is my vice and I enjoy War Thunder.. 1st week of Jan, I built me a new computer with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Raphael AM5 4.2GHz 8-Core Boxed Processor and PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Red Devil Overclocked Triple Fan 20GB.. That on a OMEN ultra widescreen curved monitor and the game is absolutely beautiful with everything turned on ..
Since I am retired, I play quite a bit, I have American to11.7 and currently working on USSR at 10.3.. My favorite BR's are American 7.7-8.0 and USSR 4.7 and 10.3... I buy some things during the sales.. I save up when there are no sales and then buy.. For me, it is worth it.. I used to do programming back in the 90's and all the code that has to be written and constantly updated by the Dev's.. Paying for some things, helps support the game..

I've always wanted to play this but never sure due to the grindy nature of it which I don't mind. It's just whether its a game you can play and enjoy snd make progress if you still play other games . Or this needs to be the only game you play to make the progress needed to properly enjoy

the game cheats by "lost connection to server" when ive set up a good ambush.or pops up bushes trees, rocks etc in my sights after im parked.even in realistic mode pops up enemy from nowhere..in aircraft mode always pops up enemy on my 6 outta nowhere.about done with it.

ow yea, I just came back fro a saturday evening....I quit after 5 games, cuz all people see is a cap point, die in 1 min, and the whole team sits on its ass in 7 to 8 min....this is not gaming....this is BS br 6.0/6.7, and even in lower tiers as well, its sickening...
