0:55 The Accordion has 5 Different playing positions which means you can play in 5 Different keys, & as a result you'll have to have many Diatonic Accordions pitched in every key to be able to play in all 12 Keys.

You definitely must put out more videos. You got a way of explaining that makes sense to me. I am bilingual english/spanish. But I think in english. Please put more videos out. You got a gift.

0:25 Yes it's like a Harmonica because you get different notes depending on weather you're moving the bellows in or out.

From what he is saying, major, minor, seventh and diminished by what treble buttons you push. I wish I could find a book on the explanation of this accordion. Any recommendations, welcomed!

this is super helpful! I appreciate it! Do the different playing positions correspond to certain scales? Like is the 1st position the scale of Fa and the 2nd position the scale of Re? Not sure how to explain it but does that make sense?

Another neat thing to keep in mind is that you can have optional Bass Reed Blocks if you're doing solo work.

Starting playing when you start walk. Then by 20 years old you might be able to play one song. There is a lot to learn.

I’m bout to be 23. Only instrument I’ve ever touched was the piano and Harmonica, but I really want to get an accordion 🪗 just for fun. I wanna be able to start playing around my compas en la peda jajaja.

Whats a good accordion to start off with (somewhat budget-friendly) ? I wanna be able to play some hits (Ramon ayala, Panter bélico, etc)

Good vid btw bro

Edit: I really wanna be able to play El 701 by Alegres and Punto y Aparte by Panter

One thing you got wrong was the diatonic part. Diatonic just means that it doesn't use a chromatic scale, instead using a scale based on the key of the instrument (e.g. C/G, D/A, etc.)

What you're thinking of is single-action and double-action accordions. Single-action accordions make the same sound with every bellow movement, while double-action accordions make two different sounds based on if the bellows are being pushed or pulled.

Otherwise great video :)
