For more information on the Losi TEN-T, the R.O.S.S. and for purchase information please visit the link below:

The Losi TEN-T is a pretty awesome truck. From it's 8IGHT-inspired chassis and suspension, powerful 3.4cc Losi engine and Spektrum DX3S transmitter, the TEN-T comes out of the box very well equipped. On top of all those features the TEN-T also includes the R.O.S.S., or Remote On-board Starting System, making it easier than ever to get a nitro vehicle started than ever before. You can literally get your engine started at the push of a button with this system.
With any new piece of technology there can be some confusion regarding how to use, care for and maintain the item. We were able to sit down recently with the man who helped bring the TEN-T to life, Gary Kyes of Losi. Gary is one of the pioneers in RC and has loaned his expertise to this vehicle. Gary walks us through how the R.O.S.S. system works, how to start the engine and keep it running when it's cold, the importance of using quality fuel and more. We have broken the video into two parts due to length, so please make sure that you check out both parts for all the information.

@beabiker It's not the ROSS that's doing it as much as the natural pressurization of the system is just that good. In extreme circumstances where the fuel system has been bone dry you can snuff the stinger and get the fuel going faster but for the most part that's not necessary.

Does the ROSS get activated by the Aux channel on a 3 channel Spektrum radio? I assume this could work with most any 3 channel radio.

@djmason9 The thing is it is actually a very capable race truck. With any new product there's confusion and armchair engineers who "know better".

@HorizonRCdotCom - well i thinks is a cool truck and a great idea. The thing i hate most about RC is all the field equipment you have to drag along with you when you go.. the start is just one less thing i need now. Not to mention it looks cool as hell.
