Non of the people in this video have any idea why Roe v Wade was overturned, and it amazes me that I, as a Brit, have to explain how the supreme court works. Roe v Wade was a bungled ruling, because what the supreme court did when they made that ruling was overstep their authority. Their job is to uphold the constitution, so the only way they would have any authority to tell states what laws they can and can't have regarding abortion would be if the constitution grants the right to an abortion. The fact is that abortion is not mentioned ANYWHERE in the constitution.

The supreme court ruled based on their personal beliefs about whether or not abortion should be legal, and not based on what the constitution actually says, which is what they are supposed to do. That's why Roe was overturned. The supreme court does not have the authority to mandate the legality of abortion.

As a person who sees and understands the viewpoints of both pro life and pro choice stances, it’s unfortunate that in this debate, the person representing a pro choice stance was not equipped enough or at the same level as pro life proponent in order to have a level debate.
