Steelers WR = Headcase. if they let a WR go, the drama is not worth the talent/production anymore

Idk why they traded for him. They didn’t need a wr they need a pass rusher

As a ravens fan I look at the steelers as a blue chip org so the fact they didn't want him and Carolina was quick to let him go you know he's a problem

It’s a shame because he’s a talented guy who could help the ravens

No team will want a player who decides mid game to sabotage his teammates.

For as much as the Panthers are seen as a dumpster fire, you have to give them credit for jettisoning Johnson when they did.

Here is a Clue: Mike Tomlin didn’t want him.

George Pickens better be paying attention, less he ends up the same fate

The Ravens aren't paying in the first place, they only took on around $600, 000 of his salary in the trade, the Panthers are paying him the rest.

The question should be why did the Ravens trade for Johnson?

As a steelers fan I can confidently say I'm glad he's the ratbirds problem now.

Wow (I'm a ravens fan). The most heartbreaking part for me my senior year is making the decision to hang up the pads or play at a college level. It's really sad especially with all your brothers around you who come to make the same decision... This is a career and hobby Diontae takes for granted bc so many people wish they can go on to play at any level but not given the opportunity.... what a disappointing player and bad example to the youth.

The Steelers cut DJ lose because he couldn't/wouldn't improve his blocking, which is something they need WR to do in an Arthur Smith offense.

I mean, yes, he was a headcase...and that was probably a contributing factor...but he no longer fit their scheme. As for why the Ravens aren't playing him, I'd guess it's because his strength is route running, and he hasn't yet had enough time to absorb their playbook to the coaches' satisfaction. The Steelers are slow rolling Mike Williams for that reason.

Nelson Aghlor isn’t better than Diontae Johnson so on some level i understand why he was frustrated with how he was being used
