A little Test i did today with the
Sony FS5 / Raw Update
and
Atomos Shogun Inferno
everything shot in 4k 120p Raw to Prores

Great video. I have fs5 shogun inferno update raw. But I can't record with 120 fps. What am I doing wrong? What do you need?

Hi! Amazing footage. Do you know if the sensor crops for 4k120p raw burst withe the shogun inferno?? I assume that it wont crop since the sensor itself has 4k as max resolution. I also would like to know if the 2k raw 240p continous is cropped. Thanks and great channe!!.

I've been waiting so long for this combo! finally the new update the inferno can shoot 4k 120fps RAW. Only question, how long is the burst for? And does this vary per camera? Is it correct that for the FS5 its 4 seconds?

I have all this set, Sony FS5 with the latest firmware + RAW and HFR updates, Atomos Shogun Inferno with the latest firmware, good SDI BNC 12G cables, I configured everything for the HFR mode according to Atomos instructional movie. I only have RAW 4K 60 FPS, RAW 2K 240 FPS. RAW 4K 120 FPS does not work, the colored stripes show up on the screen and only records a few seconds, not a sequence of 60 FPS ... Maybe it's the fault of my weak SanDisk ULTRA II 960GB SSD and I need the Extreme PRO? On which SSD you record? :) Thank you for your help !

Nice work. Just a question re: interpreting footage in Premiere (assuming that's what you use?) My 4k 100fps Inferno files from FS5 with firmware update appear as 50fps. Are you re-interpreting those clips to 25fps and getting true 100fps in the timeline? Thanks in advance

i have the fs5ii with the shogun and an angelbird 4k raw ssd. i have all my setting set correctly. even the shogun shows that im recording in 120p. but when i go check this files on my pc, they are 60p! Any ideas here? Ive been struggling with this all day. testing everything i can to fix it. no luck :(

Hello Jonas can you help me out please? A simple question. It records 120fps burst RAW to CDNG or to 10bit Prores? The problem with Atomos is not actually record CDNG files. They should say: read signal 12bit RAW at 120fps but records at 10bit Prores. As a consumer I don't care if the recorder can read RAW 16bit @ 240fps or whatever, I need to know the output the recorder give me to use. And 10bit Prores is Wwwaaaayyyy low quality them 12bit CDNG RAW files. So the question is simple. Can Shogun Inferno output the RAW camera files as CDNG from the burst 120fps?
