Bright colored rags of the same color are handy for marking a quick path as long as you can clearly see one from another. BUT, do not leave them as you return take each one with you never leave a trace that someone else will find and be confused by. If anyone uses Surveyor Tape, please take it down never leave it behind to confuse a Surveyor...Also anywhere a path forks place a arrow made of logs from the land to show which road you came in on. Last of all always take a hatchet if you need to make tree blazes, do them at eye level but never just for fun because it hurts the trees. Only do that as a last resort if your life depends on it.

Ok. BUT. What if. Ur car brks down or. U simply find urself stranded in uncharted territory ?!? I know the suns path. And such. But. Other valuable information would help me sleep much better at night. 🙏 plant and animal recognitions. Due east or west at mid day. 🤷🏻‍♀️ there must be ways to know these things And i for one am hungry for such knowledge. 🖤
