What's your thoughts on the Pixel 2? Everyday carry worthy or nah?

Love my pixel 2. Wish there was a different firmware option though

I really enjoy both the OG and the 2! Rock solid and great for the EDC. Just waiting on Knulli and I’ll be set!

It's just a little too small. I wouldn't mind a GKD "MegaPixel" with the high resolution screen out of the Brick. I love the metal build, the power LEDs, and just the overall premium-ness of the Pixel; it's just that I'm not an ant.

Always loved metal devices and wanted to pick this up. But... its too small for me. I loved the novelty of the miyoo mini but after a while it was too small to play with. This being smaller made it more of a no for me.

Wish I could get a WiFi dongle to work. Tried three so far, only got one dongle to work once. The dongle and adapter recommend by Retro Games Corps video connected once and not again since. I am thinking it is a driver issue but nobody seems to talk about WiFi dongles in the reviews. If they do mention WiFi it is no issues whereas I am having nothing but issues.

Yeah, although, I have to say that I find that the abxy buttons travel a little deeper than I would like but it is a bloody great unit. I snagged the purple colourway young lad. It's a real nice unit but I'm still team MM - all day long.

GKD should make a Bluetooth controller.

im waiting for an order from keepretro so im just watching videos of it. I kinda want it to be a pokemon machine or other older rpgs that would be great to just pull out. stardew valley or rpg maker games also sound neat. I have an anbernic 35xx console which probably does more. but its big enough where i dont really bring it with me. i want smaller to actually bring with me for short bursts,

I just really don't want to play on anything with a screen smaller than about 2.8 inches.

2.8 is already small, but it's manageable in return for portability. Miyoo mini, A30 are small enough for me.

I have the 1st one. I like it but don't use it very much. I have way too many handhelds at this point so I'm trying to be more discerning. I don't think I would use it enough to justify the cost. And for that price you can get a lot better stuff if you don't care about the super small size.

Love the device but I really don't like the firmware. We need MinUI (or NextUI) on this asap

This handheld is only for games with super easy and basic controls. Anything using slightly more buttons or more advanced and the games will be unplayable. Tried megaman x on the snes and it was impossible to play since it's simply way too small and cramped. I couldn't beat any of the bosses on this thing while it's supposed to be a piece of cake with a normal controller.

Wish this was a FLIP, the screen could have been MUCH BIGGER if this was a FLIP

I have the pixel 2, but does anyone here have an issue where it just randomly freezes when quitting out of a game or trying to load a save state? It’s freezes up here and there when I do so and I have to restart the system causing me to lose all of my progress in games. Seems like the software just gets stuck and that is what keeps it from being my edc…
