What about toddlers who take great pleasure in doing the wrong thing, so I have always tried to have a gentle approach. Explanations and instructions, tried redirecting. She laughs and does what you don’t want, at lightening speed no matter what I’ve tried... 😭 obviously the yelling no’s aren’t working, this came after the gentle approach as I was so fed up. I’m doing this all on my own. My mum keeps sending me Super Nanny videos as my toddler can be so “unruly”, she is nearly 2 1/2 and getting worse every day. I do my best to role model the behaviour I want and speak nicely, she is amazing with manners but not with listening, I get she is young but I just don’t know at what point I should be concerned or if there is another approach that may work.
