It amazes me how much people love the sprout icon. I've been playing for so long I don't even remember if it existed back when I was new, but I'm glad to see that the sprout icon is the most prestigious icon next to a name while everyone despises the burger king crown.

You will never realize how enviable a status it is to be a sprout 🌱 until it’s GONE! It happens at completing “Stormblood”, on a final MSQ. It happened to me a week ago though I had heard about it several time just periodically glancing at “Novice Chat” for sprouts 🌱. Lucky for me I was leveling my main as PLD Tank and a BLM together switching back and forth to keep their level sync together within half a level. So much happened in MSQ at end of Stormblood that you barely notice you lost sprout 🌱 status. But at one point you’ll realize, the world seems quieter and you notice “Novice Chat” is GONE, Sprout 🌱 status is also GONE 😲😢! Then you subconsciously notice you miss all the seemingly stupid questions sprouts 🌱 or returnee’s to the game keep asking who has also not yet started Shadowbringers content. That sprout 🌱 status is an enviable status. It’s missed a lot whenever you go to dungeons and raids your not as familiar with.
