Facing immense criticism, Russian officials are attempting to tighten the mobilisation process for Ukraine war. Kremlin has been battling multiple challenges to implement the partial mobilisation announced by President Putin on September 21. In the latest instance, a regional official In Khabarovsk region was sacked due to issues in recruitment of new conscripts. Six newly mobilised Russian soldiers have reportedly died since the start of Putin’s mobilisation drive for the war in Ukraine. On September 30, Putin reprimanded Russian officials for “mistakes” in carrying out his “partial” mobilisation. Russia’s retreat from the Ukranian city of Lyman has elicited an outcry from state media, which typically casts Moscow’s war in glowing terms.

1) Give them a stick with a white flag on it?
