NACFC 2023 | S30: A New Milieu: Emerging Principles in Immune Dysfunction

As we’ve entered a new era of highly effective CFTR modulator therapy, the paradigm of the infection/inflammation feed-forward loop has been disrupted. However, people with cystic fibrosis still experience dysregulated inflammation related to a multitude of factors. In this session, attendees learn newly described ways in which autoimmunity and aging can impact immune responses in CF, and how immune modulators and CFTR modulators impact the ability to control infections.
