Jaguar | Copy Nothing… existential crisis??

Well as almost every self respecting #petrolhead I love Jaguar. And this video is a reaction to #jaguar new image campaign. If your a #vintagecar enthusiasts or even modern #car enthusiasts let me know what you think of jaguars new artistic direction.

I love this video! My first car was a Triumph TR6, but that was only because at 15 and only having jobs mowing lawns and shoveling snow I couldn't afford an E-type V12. By the time I could afford one I was more into practical vehicles that suited my businesses. Like some watch rebrands (Blancpain, Breguet), Jaguar has changed hands so many times now that it has permanently broken its connection to its heritage. Unsurprisingly its marketing now looks like Swatch marketing. Expect colorful plastics along with those electric motors and a life expectancy of three to five years before the new ones, if they ever make it to market, hit the landfills.

G'day Mitka. One of the highlights of my life was driving a mint mid 70's XJ back in the mid 90's. Gorgeous car. The new offering? Hideous outside with an interior reminiscent of an airplane toilet.
