Bangkok Artist's House Baan Silapin - Khlong Bang Luang Floating Market - Bang Phai MRT

At the Floating market I explored the Artist's House (Baan Silapin). Baan Silapin is an artist's community where every weekend they hold a puppet show at 2 pm.

After I checked the Artist's House I explored the village. It makes for a very nice day out. You can easily combine with with a visit to the Big Golden Buddha at Wat Paknam. It will make for a very nice daytrip inside the city.

It's now much easier to get to Baan Silapin. Just take the MRT to Bang Phai, and its a 10 minute walk along the soi running parallel to the khlong. Come on Saturday or Sunday, when the coffee shops and food stalls are open, and the puppet show starts at 2 pm. Had a coconut ice-cream sitting beside the khlong and watched the world go by, the experience is unforgettable! Thanks for the video!
