LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler Full RC Mod 42122

Today, I show you my motorized version of the lego technic jeep wrangler 42122 as well as a detailed layout of where to place the motors and the battery box. One of the biggest complaints about this set is the lack of a drivetrain; however, is this set fixed after this rc mod? You will need at least 2 large lego powered up motors, one small powered up battery box, one small technic frame, one differential, as well as a few gears, pins, beams, and axles.

This is such an awesome compact rc mod! I can see why it was challenging to do this mod, but its ok that it's only rear wheel drive, as it still has suspension.

Just finished this build. I have an issue where the front axle pulls the right wheel up when I turn left and pulls the left wheel up when I turn right. It’s a mechanical issue but I followed the build to the letter. Is there a fix for this? Thanks

In the rear you should have put 1x3 liftarms around the axle (the middle hole )the put pins 1x3 connect the pins to the lift arms 2 and the finally pin to the diff that should help with the flexing on the rear axle

Looks cool. But ground clearance isn’t that good. I’m kind of surprised on how badly scratched the motor on the bottom is. Yikes! Got to take care of it more. But who am I kidding. Nice job!
