A few months ago my youngest took a bite of something and said, ‘This is bussin bussin.’ I popped back with ‘no cap’. All three of my kids froze and dropped their jaws. It was one of my most epic parenting wins. 😂😂😂🤣

This caused my son to run from the room. So you nailed it. No cap.

I loved Lola's looks to you and the camera. Dead. On. Teenager. You can't pretend those annoyed looks, the girl's got it perfected. 😂

I love how your voice goes all Valley Girl when you try to use Gen z talk LOL.

“You live rent free in my head..and my house!” Idk why this made me laugh so much but that’s just hilarious🤣🤣

Lol, as a middle school teacher I hear these things in the wild, like language immersion, so I USUALLY understand and use most of them correctly. Shocks my teenager.

It’s hysterical Lola’s actual voice sounds so much more mature than Kim’s.

“Are we still doing this?” Hilarious! This Boomer loved this video despite not understanding the lingo!! So good to see Lola again. Y’all make me smile!! 😊

It's so endearing at the end, Lola gently trying to convey that when there's the "eagerness" and parental yearning to connect, it taints the chill delivery, thereby causing a tone of somewhat nerdy/goofy (but lovely because of the sentiment!) vibe:). I hope this came out right!

I've gotten my friends kids to start saying "That's double-decker bussin" when something is really good 😆

LOL I stopped the video and went to ask my 16-y/o son what 'bussin' meant before Lola got to explain it and he said, "EW, no, MOM that's dead already." It was only with extreme reluctance (and after extracting my promise not to use it) that he would explain. Thank you for enabling conversation with teenagers...even if it drives them up the wall.

When you asked if you should yeet Lola out of the car, I lost it. 😂 Thoroughly enjoyed this as an elderly millennialXennial high school teacher who works with Gen Z

As a Gen X with Gen Z children please keep making these informative videos….. I may not use these terms in my own speech but I need to know what they mean 😉

As a gen x I'd just like to say this video was wicked/Hella good/excellent.
Also if your kids get annoyed at you for trying to talk like them just tell them to take a chill pill.

The fact that your daughter put up with it is pretty clutch. Mad props… from a mom in NY

🤣 I'm a 90's kid and have no understanding at all of this lingo! It all sounds ridiculous to me haha but the same goes for them to us so 🤪 love you all!

I’m a millennial, and this is reminding me how long it’s been since I’ve been in high school. I understood practically none of that lingo. 😅

Lola's looks of pity and contempt are epic.

My kids (that are still at home) are 15 and 16 and every other day they're saying a new word that I swear I have either 1) never heard or 2) never heard in this context and I am always mildly confused. 😅Then they have the nerve to refer to the things I say as "old people words." They'll understand one day. That's what I've been telling myself for the last dozen or so years. 🤞

Totally understanding what our parents went through in the 90s with all of our lingo they couldn't get! Long live the 90s!
