Here is the severity of China's Navy (It's modernized, and it's localized, designed to fight a war in it's territorial waters).

The PLA Navy has 355 Ships.
US Navy has 280 ships

China's Coast Guard (CCG) has another 550 armed ships that have the ability to blockade Taiwan alone while the PLA fight's a conventional Naval War.

China also has what is called the "Maritime Militia". And that is estimated to between 1, 000 to 3, 000 ships that can be armed


It is estimated that just between the PLA, and the CCG, they have a combined weapons load out of 18, 000 - 25, 000 Missiles

We haven't even touched on the "PLA Rocket force" that has been manufacturing and stockpiling for the last 30-40 years, and between 2003 and present have been stockpiling Modern Missiles to include Hypersonic. Remember, China hasn't had a major military conflict so they have enough aged weapons to overload Taiwan, Philippines, Japan, South Koreas Air Defense, and that doesn't enough touch the Modern Weapons System. This number is most likely wrong, as it seems rather impossible, but China is Global Manufacturing powerhouse with 1.4 billion people. It's estimated China has a medium to long ranged Missile Stock pile of 900, 000 - 1.75 million

China has been prepping for this for 40 years.
