Bluetooth Kit for Honda Accord 2008-2012 by GTA Car Kits

IMPORTANT: At 3:09, after pulling out the little shelf, he neglects to mention that there are two screws down there holding in the head unit. They are pretty hard to see as they're angled upwards. They're Phillips screws but they can also be removed with an 8 mm socket. Don't try to pull out the head unit before removing these!

Did the install today and works great and the only hiccup was I did not read the comments about the back screws on the bottom side of the radio . It took me a minute and read a Crutchfield guide that noted the two screws and where they were at but real happy with the purchase .

Hi guys at GTA. Thanks for the great video. It was easy to install and no broken clips or plastic bits. One thing to note for Australian customers if you do get them. At least this is what I found. Besides the 2 screws at the lower front you need to take out to remove the radio, there are 2 more facing upwards near the back of the radio. They are easy to get out, just got to know they are there. All works as described.

Dude, a small Bluetooth to aux adapter in the center glovebox, one to aux, one to the usb cable for power. The phone pairs and select aux. that’s it. 20 bucks. Works and sounds great.

For the EX-L model, there are additional steps. You can find instructions for removing the stereo online. Also EX-L model, one needs to use the category button to switch to aux. Works great.

You should have showed that there were 2 additional 8mm screws underneath the stereo because if you don't remove them the stereo will not come out!

I have a 2012 Honda accord ex-l with navi... i wish there was a direct plugin Bluetooth  module that that gave me A2DP only, and allowed me to keep my factory hands free USB etc.

Hi! I bought Honda Accord 2008. It has this cord with USB female connection. I hooked up a USB memory stick with songs to it. It somehow played those songs, but when I tried to do it second time I couldn't navigate to the USB card again. Could you explain how to do it, please. I remember I need to navigate from CD to CDP, I guess, or CDC. Just can't figure it out..
