This was the last show my gal and i went to before she passed away.
She wore a see thru flowing dress. We danced and was with dead family.
So amazing to have vip seats and experience this.

I will always miss Jerry and his noodling. In many ways he was the heart and soul of The Dead. But John is a fine guitarist and the spirit of The Dead lives on. Just happy the younger generation gets to experience it.

I’m baffled by criticism of John Mayers brilliant contribution to this 50 year musical movement. Appreciation is lost when comparison starts

To those hating on John, he is nothing short of a blessing to help keep the legacy alive . I have loved the dead for 35 years, as I am “only “ 😂😂 44. My sis 10 years my senior was my influence. And now my 18 year old daughter has decided not to go to Europe for her graduation gift, but to go to Vegas to see dead and company at the sphere. And I am so stoked to do it with her. Thank you Dead and Company.

John Mayer truly understands this music. At times listening to him feels like flying as abstract that might come off. Doesn't matter. One fine musician. One fantastic fantastic band.

This song has aged well. Listen carefully and revel in the lyrics. A masterpiece along with Terrapin. Mayer does a credible job and has the sense to stretch it out to 15 minutes. This is one of the tighest bands in the history of music. Two drummers is brilliant. I am going to play this every day because it brings tears of joy. Two years ago at the outdoor Festival at June Lake. We got the live version with Melvin Seales while staring at the face of the mighty Sierra Nevada. Tears streamed down my face in joy.

Mayer is an incredible addition; humble, respectful and a credit to Jerry. Roster changes in many sports, companies, and yes the Dead. We are all so fortunate to have the bus running!!

3:25 to 3:59 is some of the most beautiful, melodic, and feel-filled guitar work I've ever heard. John Mayer is just on a different level with his talent, songwriting, and musicianship. To have an amazing modern artist such as he playing with a legendary band is an amazing listening experience.

John Mayer does a far greater job at filling in for Jerry than from anyone I ever thought imaginable. Then, on his own, he opens up completely differently directions. This guy HAS IT. I wish him a long and splendid career, as it seems to be headed right now!

some phenomenal playing by mayer, really captures garcia spririt and instead of just outright copying him, made it his own. This is probably my favourite dead and company recording :)

When their set ended at Bonnaroo in 2016 I heard comments from a lot of younger people who loved it, and had no clue who the Dead was, but went because they new who John Mayer was. It was cool to see the start of where some people ultimately hopped on the bus.

hard to tell it was 103 degrees that day!! We got free tickets from a dude who had won them on the radio....just happened to go on craigslist 22 minutes after he posted and 'convinced' him we were real heads : ) it was a dry heat at least! fun show.
