Here in the USA, our trucks don't have a lot of restrictions on noise and only some areas have restrictions. Even at my fire department. Our pumper barks and screams with its 128 mm pipe with no muffler or DPF with it's 8v92ta

the braking force shown in the clip is about 3800nm give or take, depending on what retarder the truck was delivered with of course. The braking effect is absoloutely phenomenal considering the truck and trailer weighs around 50 tonnes or more.

This is not a retarder. This ain't an engine brake. This is an exhaust brake. All 3 different things.

Where I live, you can not use retarders or engine brakes in populated areas. Big fines!

Very quiet Jake break but it's definitely Jaking. Truck must be under light load.
