= max temp - min temp

3. This is so because the place has high annual range of temp

1. Kanpur is in the interior region of the continent . Thus experiences a continental type of climate i.e too hot in summer and too cold in winter
2. Kochi is warmer and more closer to the equator and receives more direct solar radiations throughout the year
3. Ganga Plain lies in North India and South west monsoon wind first strikes the west coast of India before north india

(iii)That is because the monsoon winds come to India from the south west and so reach the west coast before it can reach the Ganga plain .
