Cheap BASS Strings by Orphee - are they any good?

As a follow up to my review on the 6 string set of Orphee strings, here is my review/demo of the 4 string SB9X bass set. Sound examples toward the end of the video.

I use these strings for a LONG TIME and it works as they should. Don’t get fooled by its price. It is similar to roto swing bass (i think they copied them) for anybody thinks they didn’t work. Well letme hear your sound using these strings, or i can make videos using these strings. The tension is similar to dunlop mm strings..

In the end of the day use what you can afford and go play music. Nobody notice you using these cheap strings

Finally bought some Chinese bass strings but from Caye. Just installed them on my p bass and they're great, they're rough at first but then feel smooth once you get your hands on them. 3 sets for $12.

Thank you, I bought 6 string set for a little 4 string I throw around the place and thought that's a cheap way of getting some spare Bs and Cs but they sounded geart on the 4. Anyway I am buying a complete set for my 6 but wondered what others had to say.

I just got 2 basses to track with. A noname 4 string wish and a bcp acousti lectric. Both have more finishup tweaks left to do but im gonna need new strings and ive never played bass just 6 string. Si I dont need a real expensive brand just bass sound mainly.will a big guage have more bass? And should I use nylon on the acoustic?

Dont buy Orphee bass strings. The output is way lower when plugged in. Learned it the hard way.

They're good value for money, i wont be using ernie ball, d'addario, elixer in a hurry anymore.

Orphee es mi marca favorita de cuerdas, en guitar electric,
He probado muchas y su sello del vacio es el mejor, sucede que Orphee es mas una marca china que admite ser china, intenta brindar lo mejor de si y aumentar su reputación a modo honrado.


Es muy diferente a las Ernie Ball, Elixir, Daddarios (chinas) que no les interesa brindarte calidad, al contrario, buscan hacerte creer que son originales cuando no es así.



Las Ernie Ball piratas me llegaban oxidadas, las Orphee no.

Las ernie ball piratas, se rompian facil, las orphee no.



Pasa que entre ambas marca mucha diferencia el empaque de las cuerdas, selladas al vacio, ayuda mucho.


Mientras que no sellarlas al vacio, hace que siempre esten ante la humedad.



Lo unico que quisiera de Orphee es que no se quede en el calibre 11 en cuerdas de guitar electrica,
Que vaya a calibres 12 y 13 (que suelen ser mis favoritos en guitar)
